How to Check if You Are on a Trial or Permanent Salesforce License

In order to install HomeKeeper, you will need to ensure that your organization has a permanent Salesforce license. HomeKeeper will not be installed in a trial instance. Below are instructions to check whether you are currently on a trial or if you have received your permanent license.

Step 1 - Log into Salesforce

Navigate to https://login.salesforce.com. You will be prompted to enter your username, which will be in the form of an email address, and your password.

If you don't remember your password, click on the link under the login window, "Forgot Your Password." This will send you a password reset link via email, which you will follow to create a new password and log in. If you do not see the email, be sure to check your spam.

Step 2 - Navigate to Salesforce "Setup"

Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of your Salesforce window to access your Setup options. Then click "Setup."

Step 3 - Navigate to your Company Information page

From the Setup home page, use the Quick Find search bar on the left-hand side to search for "Company Information." Then select "Company Information" from the selection menu.

Step 4 - Check the Expiration Date of Your Salesforce User Licenses

From the Company Information page, scroll down to the "User Licenses" section and check the Expiration date on the right hand side of the Salesforce licenses.

The date should be roughly one year from the date that you signed up for your instance. If the date is less than a month from the date you signed up, you are still on your trial instance and will need to secure your permanent license.
